Swans Island Education Achievement Trust Fund The Swans Island Educational Achievement Trust Fund was established in 1997 to provide scholarship support for permanent residents of Swans Island who wish to further their education beyond high school at college, vocational, or technical schools. This scholarship is for non-traditional students who are residents of Swans Island, Maine who want to change their life for the better through education and training.  The scholarship supports a range of degree, training, certificate, and other non-degree programs. The Swans Island Education Achievement Trust Fund provides scholarship assistance to residents of Swans Island pursuing further education at a post-secondary institution. Awards will be based upon scholarship, achievement, service to the community, and financial need, and may be renewable for a maximum of four years based upon the continued performance and need of the student.
