The Colorado Trust

Our Vision

All Coloradans have fair and equal opportunities to lead healthy, productive lives regardless of race, ethnicity, income or where we live.

Our Mission

Advancing the health and well-being of the people of Colorado.

Community Resilience Initiatives

The Community Resilience Initiatives are three-year investments demonstrating the foundation’s belief in and commitment to the strengths, abilities and resiliency of Colorado communities. These seven grantmaking initiatives address the strategic plan’s three focus areas of food, housing, and mental and behavioral health, all of which emerged during the planning process as top priorities in communities across Colorado. This funding aims to bolster entities working to respond effectively to disruptions in communities resulting from economic downturns, social turbulence, public health crises, or a lack of coherent or effective public policy.

The Community Resilience Initiatives include seven (7) competitive grant initiatives:

* Sustaining Housing Solutions
* [Diverse Approaches to Behavioral Health]()
* [Expanding Access to Behavioral Health]()
* [Accessing Healthy Foods]()
* [Building Food Systems]()
* [Capacity Building Assistance]()
* [Policy and Advocacy]()

Sustaining Housing Solutions

The Colorado Trust is seeking to increase housing affordability and stability for those who face barriers to living a long and healthy life. The purpose of this initiative is to fund entities to provide comprehensive, wraparound housing and assistive services.

The Colorado Trust is hoping to achieve, through this funding and through the work of its grantees, the following longer-term outcomes:

* Increase comprehensive housing services focused on unhoused individuals
* Increase stability for those at risk of losing housing or unable to secure adequate housing
* Reduce stigma associated with people experiencing homelessness.
