Funder: Arts Council of Midland (ACM) in collaboration with the City of Midland Hotel/Motel Tax Authority

Overview: Since 1989, ACM has granted dollars to area 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations for arts-related programming in Midland. As of the program's history, over $2.7 million dollars has been distributed to the arts in the community.

• Program Requirements: Must have a public component that takes place within Midland County

• Quality of programming
• Demonstration of community involvement and outreach
• Administrative and fiscal responsibility
• Distribution of funds among various art disciplines
• Accessibility of programs and facilities to minorities, low income, culturally disadvantaged and disabled people
• Amount of ACM grant funds available
• Public component within Midland County

Additional Information

• Annual subgrants are distributed once each year
• Programs must occur between January 1st and December 31st of each calendar year
• Informational meetings are held via Zoom (typically in June)
