Student Scholarships The Glaser Family Charitable Foundation scholarship program seeks to identify and support students who combine academic promise with character and a commitment to their community. At least 80% of the scholarships will be awarded to students from Fannin County. Programs include scholarships for all levels of post-secondary education available to students with a 2.0 GPA and above. Financial assistance will be available to individuals entering skills and technical training institutions as well. The Glaser Family Charitable Foundation provides its services on a competitive basis without regard for race, creed, color or sex. Awards are granted semi-annually. No funds go directly to the students, but to the colleges of their choice and placed in an account in the business office to pay tuition, books, fees, supplies, room and board. If the student is unable to use all of the money, the college must return the remainder to the foundation. Recipients must re-apply for a grant each semester they attend classes.
