    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Academic Level: Undergraduate students (any year)

  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen OR Visa holder, Green Card holder, or ITIN holder

  • Majors: All majors eligible

  • Enrollment Status: Full-time, half-time, or part-time

  • Institution: Enrolled at eligible participating institution

  • Additional Requirement: Must complete workshops to receive funding

  • Capacity: Limited spaces available (300 total participants)
  • Eligibility Expansion:
    Financial wellness education offered to entire student body at each of ten SFI participating schools, with seed funding available to selected 300 participants.

    What They Don't Fund:

  • Non-participating institution students

  • Students who don't complete required workshops
  • Contributors: Prudential Financial, Stackwell, other philanthropic sponsors

    Application Process

    Steps:
    1. Verify you attend one of 15 eligible institutions
    2. Complete eligibility requirements confirmation
    3. Submit application through SIP portal
    4. Provide information for next session notification
    5. If selected: Complete required 90-minute financial literacy workshop(s)
    6. Upon workshop completion: Receive $1,000 seed funding
    7. Begin managing investments in predefined portfolios
