Stone Owl Scholars Scholarships Grant

The Stone Owl Scholars Scholarships, offered by the Community Foundation of Abilene, provide a one-time award of $3,000 to 120 high school juniors and seniors who complete a 9-week program. This initiative aims to support students entering vocational schools or colleges, with additional matching scholarships available for those enrolling in specific institutions. The foundation manages over 150 scholarship funds, ensuring financial aid for a diverse group of students pursuing various educational paths.

The Community Foundation of Abilene is home to more than 150 scholarship funds. Through the generosity of our donors, the Foundation is privileged to offer scholarships to graduating high school seniors, currently enrolled undergraduates, graduate students, non-traditional students, and those pursuing trade certifications.
The Foundation’s scholarship process provides students access to scholarships with awards ranging from $500 to more than $5,000.
The Stone Owl Scholars award is a one-time scholarship open to 120 area high school juniors and seniors. Completion of the 9-week Stone Owl Scholars program qualifies a student for a $3,000 scholarship provided by the Dian Graves Owen Foundation.

Eligibility

This scholarship is available to students entering vocational schools or college.

Ineligibility

This may not apply if a student’s parents are employed by the university.
