Overview

Created in October 2022 to honor Officer Steve Nothem, who was lost to tragic circumstances. The scholarship rewards and encourages young people to enter law enforcement and be part of the Carrollton community.

Geographic Scope: Carrollton, TX (must reside within the city for the majority of the 2023-2024 school year)

Eligibility:

Graduating High School Senior
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale OR 80 points or better on a 100 point scale
Accepted into or intends to attend a recognized University, Junior College, or Community College upon graduation
Demonstrated interest in law enforcement career
