Description The State Abstinence Until Marriage—Emerging Programs funding is intended for programs or organizations that have not reached the level of evidence-based data to show validation of activity related to Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE), but that have apparent potential to accomplish the goals of abstinence education. Criteria used to identify qualifying emerging programs include, but are limited to, New, innovative outreach methods, not previously used in SRAE.New outreach activities in priority areas of the state.Novel programs that use local service area organizations designed to increase sexual risk avoidance.Use of the same curriculum for no more than 3 years.
