Stanley Marinoff Career Development Award

This award helps increase the number of medical professionals treating vulvodynia patients and supports the establishment of vulvar specialty clinics and vulvovaginal pain research initiatives.

Purpose: To support career development of healthcare providers establishing vulvar clinics, conducting vulvar pain research, and advancing treatment options for vulvodynia and related pelvic pain conditions.

Geographic Scope: International and U.S. recipients (past recipients from Canada, Israel, Poland, and multiple U.S. institutions)

Focus Areas:

• Establishment of vulvar specialty clinics
• Multidisciplinary vulvar pain clinics
• Clinical research in vulvar disorders
• Treatment trials for vestibulodynia and related conditions
• Specialized interventional procedures for pelvic pain
• Training of next generation of gynecologists and healthcare professionals

Eligibility: Medical professionals (MDs, DOs, PTs, PhDs) across multiple disciplines including gynecology, anesthesia/pain medicine, physical therapy, urology
