Stanley Marinoff Career Development Award

Overview: This award helps increase the number of medical professionals treating vulvodynia patients and supports the establishment of vulvar specialty clinics and vulvovaginal pain research initiatives.

Purpose: To support career development of healthcare providers establishing vulvar clinics, conducting vulvar pain research, and advancing treatment options for vulvodynia and related pelvic pain conditions.

Geographic Scope: International and U.S. recipients (past recipients from Canada, Israel, Poland, and multiple U.S. institutions)

Focus Areas:

  • Establishment of vulvar specialty clinics

  • Multidisciplinary vulvar pain clinics

  • Clinical research in vulvar disorders

  • Treatment trials for vestibulodynia and related conditions

  • Specialized interventional procedures for pelvic pain

  • Training of next generation of gynecologists and healthcare professionals

    • Eligibility: Medical professionals (MDs, DOs, PTs, PhDs) across multiple disciplines including gynecology, anesthesia/pain medicine, physical therapy, urology
