Overview: Academic Affairs' Spot Awards provides a way for division members to immediately recognize a staff member for their exceptional performance on a specific project or task, superior customer service or for exemplifying Cal State San Bernardino's core values.

How to Apply
Submission Process
1. Access the submission form: Divisional college/unit leaders, faculty and staff are invited to submit a Spot Award through a specifically created automated program
2. Complete all required fields:
- Recipient's first and last name
- Sender's first and last name (captured automatically)
- Recipient's email address
- Message: Write a text message explaining why the staff member is being recognized
- Note card: Select one of three pre-selected note cards (interchanged periodically)
3. Submit: Submit the nomination through the automated program
4. Monthly Selection: All submissions are captured in an automated monthly report. The monthly winner is randomly selected by the program.
