Staff Initiative Grants

Funder: Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation

Program Description: The Sonoma County Parks Foundation offers grants for projects recommended by Sonoma County Regional Parks (SCRP) staff. Grants support innovative initiatives that align with or enhance the strategic priorities of Sonoma County Regional Parks.

Funding Amount: At least $35,000 in grants awarded annually to staff

Geographic Scope: Sonoma County, California; supports 60+ Sonoma County Regional Parks and trails

Eligible Applicants: SCRP staff members only

Focus Areas:

  • Projects that align with or enhance SCRP strategic priorities

  • Items passionate staff want to implement but aren't covered in current Regional Parks budget

  • Innovative ideas for park improvements and programs
