Overview
The St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund provides special project funding to organizations addressing unmet community needs related to the mental and behavioral health of children and youth. Registered 501(c)(3) organizations or governmental entities can apply for funding that supports innovative solutions beyond existing programs. This initiative aims to enhance the well-being of families in St. Louis County by tackling systemic issues and offering direct services.
NOTE: Special projects are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If you have special project ideas, please submit them.
While the bulk of our investments support our two main funding opportunities: Core and Grassroots – sometimes need arises for unique projects that fall outside of the scope or timeline of these opportunities.
Our special projects respond to needs that are not being met through our current investments. Some of them involve direct service to kids and families in St. Louis County, and others are working to change systems and address root causes of mental and behavioral health issues.
Eligibility
In order to receive special project funding from CSF, your organization must be a registered 501(c)3 or governmental entity. Additionally, programming and projects must support the mental and behavioral health of children and youth in St. Louis County. Special projects address needs that are not already being addressed through our funding.
