The Springfield Foundation offers over 150 different scholarship opportunities created by generous donors. Scholarships may be used toward cost of attendance (tuition or any course-related requirements) at accredited U.S. institutions.

Scholarship Categories

The Foundation offers scholarships to three groups:

1. Graduating High School Seniors
2. Current College Students
3. Non-Traditional Students

Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility is largely determined by individual donors who establish scholarships. However, general requirements include:

#### High School Students (Graduating Seniors)

  • Are a Clark County, Ohio resident OR enrolled in a Clark County, Ohio high school*

  • Are a high school senior with at least one completed grading period of the senior year

  • Plan to enroll and complete full-time program (12+ hours per semester) in accredited institution of higher learning or post-secondary program
  • #### Current College Students

  • Are a graduate of a Clark County high school OR a Clark County, Ohio permanent resident*

  • Currently enrolled as full-time college student

  • Plan to continue in full-time program (12+ hours per semester) in accredited institution of higher learning or post-secondary program
  • #### Non-Traditional Students

  • Are a graduate of a Clark County high school OR a Clark County, Ohio permanent resident*

  • Have received high school diploma or completed GED

  • 25 years old or older AND have never attended college

  • Plan to enroll in a program at accredited institution of higher learning or post-secondary program
  • *Note: Some scholarships are available to non-Clark County students and residents

    The Springfield Foundation has TWO separate applications:

    1. 2026 Springfield Foundation Common Scholarship Application - For graduating high school seniors and current college students
    2. 2026 Scholarship Application - For non-traditional students only

    1. For Graduating High School Seniors and Current College Students:
    - Complete 2026 Springfield Foundation Common Scholarship Application

    2. For Non-Traditional Students:
    - Complete 2026 Scholarship Application
    - Non-traditional student defined as: 25 years old or older and has never attended college
    - If 25+ and currently attending college, use Common Application instead
