Eligibility

Post-Award Obligations

• Grant must be spent on education expenses
• At end of term/semester, provide verification of school attendance to SFT within 30 days
• Failure to provide verification may result in requirement to reimburse the grant
• Verification can be mailed or submitted electronically

   • Answer the question: "Why should we grant this money to you?"
2. Second Time Video Essay (if reapplying)
   • Required only for applicants seeking a second grant
   • Describe how your first SFT Grant impacted your educational experience
   • Note: Videos may be used in SFT fundraising marketing materials

Important Notes

• Failure to provide requested information or attachments may render applicant ineligible
• If electronic submission is unavailable, hard copy may be sent by mail
• Applicant responsible for ensuring verification is received by SFT within 30 days of term/semester end

Grant Notification & Disbursement

• SFT will notify applicant electronically of acceptance or rejection
• If approved, SFT will mail check to address provided on application
• Grant disbursements continue throughout the year as funding is secured
