Program Overview: Award established in 1985 to honor physicians or scientists for exceptional, enduring achievements and leadership that brought pride and recognition to Cleveland Clinic.
Purpose
Recognize exceptional achievement in professions or otherwise exceptional achievement consistent with Cleveland Clinic mission to provide better care of the sick, further investigation of their problems and more education of those who serve.- Physicians or scientists (need not be graduates of Cleveland Clinic training programs)
- Demonstrated remarkable accomplishments or special achievements in one or more areas: - Clinical Practice - Education - Research - Community Leadership - Service
- Nominees could be recognized posthumously
- Current members of Alumni Association Board of Directors were not eligible
