Southwest Ohio T1D Community Grants

Breakthrough T1D Southwest Ohio is pleased to introduce its new micro-grant program to provide funding to our existing local community support groups and to assist with the development of new groups.

Support Group Development Grant

JDRF Southwest Ohio will provide up to $300, as well as assistance and start-up resources, for the development of a new T1D support group within its chapter territory. Grants are made on an ongoing basis throughout the year, and there is no application deadline.

Eligibility

* Proposed support group must be based within the 43-county chapter territory of JDRF Southwest Ohio, and serve the constituents of this geographic region.
* Proposed support group must abide by the mission of providing education, awareness, and/or community building for the T1D constituents of Southwest Ohio.
* Proposed support group cannot directly compete with an existing officially approved support group of JDRF Southwest Ohio.
* More than one official group can exist within the same geographic region as long as they support different constituent groups (i.e. adult T1D's, T1D parents, etc.)
