Southern Oregon Latino Scholarship Fund The Southern Oregon Latino Scholarship is open to students from Josephine, Jackson, and Klamath Counties. This scholarship provides opportunities for Latinx students living in the Southern Oregon region to complete their post-high school career/degree goals. This scholarship’s primary aim is to build leadership in our region’s communities. Award Amounts: 3 awards annually dependent on the recipient’s educational plans. $2,500 a year for a 4-year university, $1,250 a year for a community college. Renewable up to 4 years upon meeting program requirements.

Eligibility

Must be a resident of Jackson, Josephine, or Klamath counties and be of Latinx heritage.Must be a high school student who will be enrolling or a student who will be enrolled full time in the state of Oregon at an accredited community college, technical institute, or public/private university for the upcoming academic year.Must have a minimum of 3.00 cumulative high school grade point average or a minimum combined verbal and math score of 1010 on the Scholastic Aptitude Test I (SAT I) or a minimum of 21 on the American College Test (ACT).Continuing college students must have a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative grade point avera
