    - Grant application must be signed by the school principal to be considered

    4. Submit by Deadline:

    - Applications received after the 15th are reviewed at the following month's committee meeting

    Tips for Successful Application

    • Be Specific: State goals clearly, specify number of students participating, explain how impact will be measured
    • Tell the Story: Briefly explain why the project is important and how it will help students
    • Include Detailed Budget: Show total project cost and amount requested from Foundation; name any other funding sources and amounts. Lack of budget detail is the most common reason for delays or denial
    • Apply Early: Two reasons: (1) Foundation does not cover expenses made before grant approval; (2) Grant funds are limited and no additional grants approved once budget expended for fiscal year
    • Consult Principal: Talk to principal before applying, as their signature is required

    Committee Review and Decision

    • Grants Committee will review application and determine funding
    • Committee may ask for additional information
    • Optional: Request to make 10-minute presentation to committee (contact Foundation office to arrange)
    • Notification by email approximately one week after committee meeting (around third Wednesday of month)
    • Decision options: Full funding, partial funding, or decline
