Soccer Across America Grants

Overview: Soccer Across America Grants are awarded on a rolling basis to support operational and equipment expenses specific to programs that provide participation opportunities to players in economically depressed areas, including disadvantaged or underserved youth.

Geographic Scope: South Texas region

Focus Areas:

  • Programs serving economically disadvantaged communities

  • Programs serving underserved youth populations

    • Funded Activities:

  • Operational expenses for programs in economically depressed areas

  • Equipment expenses for programs in economically depressed areas

    • Not Funded:

  • Scholarships, sponsorships or registration fees for individual players

  • STX player registration fees

  • Tickets or transportation to professional sporting events

  • One-time camps or clinics

  • Equipment or clothing for coaches (outside of training equipment)

  • Items to be used for auctions or fundraising (professional team jerseys or other collectible items)
