Snook Foundation Grant

The Snook Foundation Grant aims to enhance educational opportunities and support civic organizations in Baldwin County, Alabama. It provides funding for scholarships, health care initiatives, and community services, focusing on organizations that directly impact local residents. The foundation is committed to evolving with the community's needs and examines each grant request individually. Applicants must be 501(c) certified organizations located in the designated area. This grant fosters growth and resilience in the community, ensuring ongoing support for future generations.

Our mission is to provide funding for scholarships, promote health care, contribute to civic organizations for the general public, enhance school facilities and provide increased educational opportunities.
Over the last two decades, the foundation has provided funding for scholarships, promoted health care, contributed to civic organizations, enhanced school facilities and educational programs, and increased educational opportunities. We have expanded our goals and provided assistance in times of natural disasters, helped open the doors to numerous fitness, health, and medical centers, and provided a large umbrella of educational assistance with funding for libraries, historical organizations and local afterschool programs.
On the humanitarian side, the foundation has moved to help local nonprofit organizations that specialize in aide and assistance to our local residents. We have provided funding for local food banks, first responders, programs for veterans, and numerous other worthy agencies and organizations.
Our goal at The Snook Foundation is to continue to grow, support and provide to the numerous organizations that strive to open doors and lend assistance to the residents of Baldwin County. We will continue to evolve, much like our area, and our trustees will examine each grant request on a case-by-case basis.

Eligibility

All educational institutions must adhere to the following guidelines when applying:
Only two grant applications per school will be accepted during each grant allocation period.Only organizations may apply for Snook Foundation Funding.The applying organizations must be located in, and/or serve residents in the following area. You must also show how the funding to your organization will directly impact individuals in this area:South Baldwin County in the state of Alabama, in the area encompassed by:Loxley and Stapleton to the NorthGulf Shores and Orange Beach to the SouthStyx River, Seminole, Elberta, Miflin and Lillian to the EastFish River, Marlow, Summerdale, Magnolia Springs and Bon Secour to the West.To be considered for funding by The Snook Foundation, applying organizations must have obtained a 501(c) determination letter from the Internal Revenue Service. The determination letter must specify your organization's current 501(c) classification under IRS guidelines and be submitted to The Snook Foundation for our records.Charitable contributions to governmental units are tax deductible under section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code if made for a public purpose. Any governmental entities that choose to apply must provide a Federal TIN (Taxpayer Identification Number), also referred to as an EIN (Employee Identification Number), for identification purposes.

Ineligibility

The Snook Foundation does not fund individuals.You will be unable to submit the form without uploading your 501(c) Determination Letter, Federal Tax Identification Number, or Employer Identification Number.
