Sharon Stephens Brehm Undergraduate Psychology Scholarships Grant

The Sharon Stephens Brehm Undergraduate Psychology Scholarships, administered by the American Psychological Foundation, aim to support outstanding undergraduate students in psychology who demonstrate financial need. With eight scholarships valued at $5,000 each available in 2024, this initiative encourages diverse applicants, including those from international backgrounds. APF is a grant-making foundation that funds early career psychologists and graduate students using psychology to solve important problems and improve people’s lives.
The Sharon Stephens Brehm Undergraduate Psychology Scholarships will recognize outstanding psychology undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need.
The Brehm Scholarships will help defray the students’ direct educational costs (e.g. tuition, institutional fees, required textbooks, etc.). In 2024, eight scholarships will be available.

Eligibility

APF encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds with respect to age, race, color, religion, creed, nationality, ability, sexual orientation, gender, and geography.Applicants must:be an undergraduate student majoring in psychology at an accredited college or university
have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA
demonstrate financial needInternational applicants from countries that have diplomatic relations with the United States and who meet the other eligibility requirements may apply for APF funding.
