  • Special Consideration:

  • Applicants with personal connection to Friendship receive extra consideration, including:

  • - Those who work or volunteer at Friendship
    - Those with parent, grandparent, or guardian employed at Friendship
    - Those who have participated in activities, events, or youth-engagement programs with Friendship residents

    Evaluation Criteria:
    1. Academic Performance: Overall GPA, transcript strength, evidence of dedication and growth
    2. Activities & Community Engagement: Extracurriculars, clubs, sports, arts, volunteer work, leadership roles, community contributions
    3. Connection to Senior Living Community: Respect for older adults, intergenerational connection, involvement with Friendship or senior-serving organizations
    4. Essay Quality and Reflection: Writing clarity, personal growth, depth of insight regarding aging/service/intergenerational relationships, authenticity
