Senior Citizen Services Grants - Wellness Grants

The Senior Citizen Services Grants, established by Senior Citizens Services, Inc. at the Pinellas Community Foundation, aim to support wellness programs for residents aged 55 and older in Pinellas County. Eligible organizations can request funding for services such as mental health counseling, adult day care, and caregiver support. Emphasizing competitive funding, these grants prioritize projects that directly benefit the senior population, enhancing their quality of life through various wellness initiatives.

Our Partner In Aiding The Aging Of Pinellas
In 2019, Senior Citizens Services, Inc. (SCS), a former local 501(c)(3) nonprofit, established a fund at Pinellas Community Foundation (PCF). This fund now utilizes SCS’s assets to provide grants to qualified charitable organizations and government entities, supporting the expansion and improvement of direct service programs for Pinellas County residents aged 55 or older.
Funds may be requested for the following purpose:

Eligibility

Must be 501(c)(3) or government agencyAll projects and funds must be spent in Pinellas CountyFunds must be used exclusively to serve persons 55+The request for funding is specific to the funding priority (Housing, Wellness, or Senior Support Services)The application must be completed online and in fullAll funding is awarded on a competitive basis regardless of funding historyGrantees must agree to acknowledge Senior Citizens Services in external communications
