SelectHealth Awards Program Grant

The SelectHealth Awards Program offers a $5,000 cash award to organizations in Idaho, Utah, and Clark County, Nevada that enhance community well-being. This program seeks to support initiatives addressing social determinants of health, improving mental well-being, and reducing health disparities. Applicants need not be nonprofits but must demonstrate alignment with health priorities. Past recipients must wait two years before reapplying. For more information, visit selecthealth.org.

Who Is Select Health
Select Health is a nonprofit health insurance organization serving members in Utah, Idaho, and Nevada. Our wide range of government and commercial plans serve the entire community. For details, visit selecthealth.org.
The Select Health Awards recognizes organizations in Idaho, Utah, and Clark County, Nevada that build strong communities and help those in need. We support organizations that are:

• Addressing social determinants of health such as access to health care, food security and housing stability
• Improving mental well-being
• Improving chronic and avoidable health outcomes.
• What is included in the award?
• $5,000 cash award
• Examples of what the $5,000 can be used for:
• Program expenses and enhancements
• Supplies and equipment
• Fee for service
• Ongoing campaigns
• Educational material
• Anything not listed under "restrictions"

Eligibility

Please apply if your organization meets at least one of the following criteria:Promotes health and well-being
Supports the underserved
Supports equity and inclusionApplicants do not need to be nonprofit organizations

Ineligibility

Organization cannot use funding for:

• Any form of compensation (e.g., salaries or speaker fees)
• New building construction (e.g., bricks and mortar)
• Overhead costs
• Payments for rent, utilities, or space rental
• Donations to another charity or allocation of the grant to other organizations (e.g., re-gifting the monies)
• Payment of debt
• Startup costs
• One-time events (e.g., races, galas, tournaments)
• Fundraising events
