Summary
The Chapel of the Cross Seed Fund aims to foster innovative community initiatives that may not have been possible without this support. By providing funding for new programs, the Seed Fund encourages parishioners and the broader community to engage in meaningful service. Each year, one grant is awarded, with applications opening in spring and recipients announced in fall. This initiative seeks to create a lasting impact and inspire further community involvement.Overview
The Chapel of the Cross Seed Fund The Chapel of the Cross Seed Fund, has been created to seed new early-stage community initiatives that might not have existed otherwise. Our hope is that these funds will have a multiplying or catalytic effect; that they not only fund a discrete program but also spur further good by creating opportunities for the parish and others to be engaged in direct service in the community. Parishioners may choose to support Seed Fund initiatives through service or financial support. The fund is administered by an advisory committee of parishioners and the Vestry. One grant is given per year. The application opens each spring, review and finalist selection occurs in the summer, and the recipient is announced in the fall. The committee welcomes ideas and funding for new early-stage initiatives from members of the parish and the broader community.Eligibility
