SDT Foundation National Scholarship Program

Overview: Since 1976, endowed scholarship funds have made it possible for the SDT Foundation to directly support individual sisters in achieving their educational goals.

Geographic Scope: All SDT chapters nationally

Eligibility:

  • Collegiate members of Sigma Delta Tau

  • Postgraduate/alumnae members of Sigma Delta Tau

  • Each fund has unique criteria outlined by the donor
  • Focus Areas:

  • Financial need

  • Academic study area

  • Leadership success

  • Family circumstances

  • Chapter affiliation
  • Award Structure:

  • Minimum endowment to establish new fund: $25,000 over 5 years

  • Scholarship awards generated from investment earnings, preserving endowment in perpetuity

  • Multiple named scholarship funds available
  • Existing Scholarship Funds Include:
