  • Minimum 3.5 unweighted high school GPA
  • #### Transfer Students

  • 30 or more college credits earned after high school graduation date

  • Minimum 3.7 cumulative college GPA

    Format Requirements:

  • Length: 800-1000 words

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.

  • File format: .PDF or .DOC

  • Submission: Email to admissions@simpsonu.edu or to your admissions counselor directly
  • Essay Prompt (Answer Both Questions):
    1. Describe a time when you encountered difficulty or an obstacle in your life and how you overcame it.
    2. How will you be academically successful at Simpson University?
