Overview: The Ability Center offers scholarships to students with disabilities. These funds can be applied toward tuition for college, trade school, or certification programs, helping students advance their education and career goals.

Geographic Scope

Service Area: Allen, Defiance, Hancock, Henry, Fulton, Lucas, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Sandusky, Seneca, Williams, or Wood counties in Ohio; or Monroe or Lenawee counties in Michigan

    Eligibility Requirements

    Applicants must meet ALL of the following:
  • Be an individual with a disability
  • Have a permanent address in the specified counties (Ohio or Michigan)
  • Carry at least a 3.0 GPA
  • Be enrolled in a post-secondary degree program (including trade or certification)
