Scholarship Program

Overview: The Ability Center offers scholarships to students with disabilities. These funds can be applied toward tuition for college, trade school, or certification programs, helping students advance their education and career goals.

Award Details

• Amount: Up to $2,500 per recipient
• Purpose: Tuition support for post-secondary education (college, trade school, or certification programs)
• Status: 2026 recipients have been selected and notified. Application portal will reopen for 2026 Fall.

Geographic Scope

Service Area: Allen, Defiance, Hancock, Henry, Fulton, Lucas, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Sandusky, Seneca, Williams, or Wood counties in Ohio; or Monroe or Lenawee counties in Michigan

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet ALL of the following:
• Be an individual with a disability
• Have a permanent address in the specified counties (Ohio or Michigan)
• Carry at least a 3.0 GPA
• Be enrolled in a post-secondary degree program (including trade or certification)
