Overview

Scelfo LaunchNW Opportunity Scholarship This program provides assistance to individuals in Spokane County who, through uncertain circumstances, have struggled and want a better life, but lack the resources to get started. Students must be nominated by a mentor and will receive a scholarship to any LaunchNW-partnered institution to help offset tuition, fees, books, supplies, transportation, housing, and other related costs associated with supporting their educational endeavors. The scholarship requires participation in a post-high school navigation program for the cohort of recipients. All scholarship grant funds must be used for tuition, books, fees and school-related expenses for the upcoming school year only. Any other use is contrary to the intended purpose of the scholarship and would make your scholarship award taxable and could lead to a revocation of funds.
