Academic Requirements

Maintain satisfactory academic standing with college
Successfully complete minimum 12 credit hours per semester
Maintain GPA of 2.0 or better each semester

Duration

Up to 12 semesters for four-year institutions
Up to 6 semesters for two-year institutions

How to Apply

1. Base Application: Complete Say Yes Buffalo Tuition Scholarship application process (see separate entry)

2. Additional Steps:
- Complete Federal FAFSA application to establish Pell Grant eligibility
- Complete New York State TAP application
- Apply to and be admitted to a SUNY or CUNY college
- Apply for on-campus housing
- Notify Say Yes of college choice through scholarship account

3. Verification: Say Yes will verify maximum Pell Grant receipt and on-campus residency status
