Sandy Morris Scholarship

Overview: Commemorates Sandy Morris's 24 years of distinguished service as conductor of the former Philharmonic Orchestra.

Award Details:

  • Two 50% tuition scholarships ($225 each) awarded each season

  • One scholarship to a string player

  • One scholarship to a wind or percussion player

    • Eligibility:

  • Members of the Chattanooga Youth Symphony Orchestra

  • Selection based on:

    • - Financial need
    - Exceptional musicianship
    - Demonstrated dedication to the CYS
