Saks Fifth Avenue Foundation Grant

The Saks Fifth Avenue Foundation Grant supports U.S.-based organizations focused on mental health initiatives. This grant aims to enhance access to care, increase awareness, and foster education in communities. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) non-profits with a mission centered on mental health and have been operational for at least one year. Priority is given to smaller, independent organizations that have not received funding in the last two years, promoting local support for mental health.

The Saks Fifth Avenue Foundation is proud to support leading mental health initiatives whose scale and technology bring access to care, awareness and education to communities nationwide. We also recognize that local, community-based organizations are critical in offering support to the health and wellbeing of those they serve. For the fourth year, we are proud to renew our fund to support ten U.S.-based, local organizations serving the mental health of those in need with the Saks Fifth Avenue Foundation Local Grant Program. Qualifying non-profits are invited to submit a short proposal for a grant to fund their work.
The Saks Fifth Avenue Foundation’s mission is to make mental health a priority in every community, especially those where support is most needed, by:
Increasing awareness and education: Fostering conversations and supporting educational programs that break down the stigma of mental health issuesImproving access to care: Increasing the availability of resources to address mental health issues when and where they are needed mostBuilding protective factors: Strengthening attitudes, behaviors and relationships that build the foundation for mental health

Eligibility

Organizations submitting a request for a grant must:Be a registered 501c3 non-profit that is in good standing and has been classified by the IRS as a U.S. public charityHave been in existence for at least 1 year Have a stated mission that focuses on direct access to mental health care or have a program with a stated focus on direct access to mental health care operating in the United StatesBe nonpartisanBe able to provide a high-resolution imagery, logo, etc.Be able to sign the Saks Foundation’s standard grant agreement
