Eligible applicants include programs, sponsors, and potential sponsors of rural residency programs that train medical residents in rural or community-based settings. For general pediatrics, general surgery, and psychiatry, training after the first year must be based outside the seven-county Twin Cities metropolitan area. Funded by CMS.
