About SVA Through a network of over 1,600 on-campus chapters, SVA has been inspiring tomorrow’s leaders since 2008 to ensure they achieve their greatest potential. RTX Patriot Scholarship RTX and SVA award two $10,000 scholarships annually to U.S. Army student veterans. Empowering U.S. Army Student Veterans with a Scholarship Student Veterans of America and RTX have partnered to provide two (2) $10,000 scholarships to student veterans demonstrating a commitment to and passion for their chosen field of study, as well as demonstrated leadership and engagement within their community. The Patriot Scholarship is offered exclusively to U.S. Army veterans, and is named after RTX’s Patriot Air and Missile Defense System.Eligibility

Army student veterans pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited four-year college or university may apply with the following qualifications:Be a U.S. Army veteranDemonstrate a commitment to a chosen career field in engineering, operations, logistics, manufacturing, or other related fields (e.g. textile manufacturing, industrial engineering, quality assurance, etc.)Be a full-time, currently enrolled student at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S. as demonstrated by a current transcript (unofficial or official)Be entering into the Fall 2026 semester as a full-time enrolled student (including undergraduate and graduate programs) at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S.) as demonstrated by a current transcript (unofficial or official)Demonstrate leadership and engagement in their communityBe a current student veteran (includes members of the National Guard or Reserve), as demonstrated by a DD214 and current transcript (unofficial or official)Have received an honorable discharge; must be a veteran in good standing as shown by a DD214At the time scholarship funds are issued, recipients must provide proof of enrollment or an official acceptance letter for Fall 2026.
