Role of Maintenance Therapy in HER2+ Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) II. Requirements General Area of Interest for this RFP: With new trial design exploring treatment optimization in the maintenance setting and the evolving treatment landscape, understanding the value of maintenance therapy is becoming important for treatment decisions. Independent medical education projects should improve awareness and understanding of: how the concept of maintenance therapy in the 1L setting introduced by CLEOPATRA and its evolution over time provides treatment de-escalation opportunity in consideration of patients’ Quality of Lifethe role of endocrine therapy in the HE2R+/HR+ MBC 1L settingtreatment individualization in the maintenance setting including multi-drug managementoverall treatment paradigm and 1-L standard of care evolution for patients with HER2+ MBC integrating the latest available evidence Target Audience: Medical oncologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals involved in the care and treatment of people with cancer.

Geographic Scope/Location of Project:United States, United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, and Italy are the priority countries although proposals with global reach are also encouraged.Applicant Eligibility CriteriaApplicant organizations to this RFP must be based in the United States or one of the 5-European countries above.The following may apply: medical, allied health, and/or pharmacy professional schools; hospitals and healthcare institutions (both large and small); professional organizations/medical societies; medical education companies; and other entities with a mission related to healthcare professional education and/or healthcare improvement.If the project involves multiple departments within an institution and/or between different institutions / organizations / associations, all institutions must have a relevant role and the requesting organization must have a key role in the project. For projects offering continuing education credit in the United States, the requesting organization must be accredited.Examples of educational formats that will be considered under this RFP include but are not limited to:On-agenda educational sessions during live conferencesSymposia or symposia series alongside major congresses such as ESMO and ASCO GIGrand rounds – single events or seriesOnline articles, newsletter articles, training courses, webinarsSocial media posted & linked contentVideos, podcasts, infographics, animationsMulti-faceted or series-based activitiesAward amounts include direct costs, institutional overhead costs (capped at 28% per Pfizer policy), and indirect costs.

Ineligibility

Only organizations are eligible to receive grants, not individuals or physician-owned medical practices or individual-physician-owned organizations.It is not our intent to support clinical research projects. Projects evaluating the efficacy of therapeutic or diagnostic agents will not be considered.
