Overview

Robert Rector Scholarship Robert Rector learned machining and tool making in his family basement as a teenager from his father. During WW2, this interest became a family business and now continues as Western Sintering Co in Richland, WA. Robert believed that education is the way to everyone’s future and he was always ready to share to make learning possible for others. This scholarship fund has been created in Robert’s honor to encourage youth in developing their interests in these most important machining skills. This is a field much in demand in industry and you will be sought after as a skilled tradesperson.
