Overview
The Surti Family Scholarship, part of the RFI Nursing Scholarships, supports minority nursing students in Rhode Island who are Certified Nursing Assistants. This scholarship allows applicants to use one application for multiple nursing funds. Award amounts range from $500 to $10,000, with a preference for candidates at Butler Hospital and Care New England. All renewals require a new application. The Foundation awards scholarships from nine nursing funds each year. One application may be used to apply for all nine programs, as long as an applicant qualifies for at least one of the programs.
