Overview
Remedios Education Grant
Purpose: The Remedios Education Grant supports early-career radiology professionals—including radiology residents, fellows, and practicing sonographers—by providing funding to attend the SRU Annual Meeting. This award is intended to foster interest, education, and engagement in ultrasound among a diverse group of emerging leaders in the field.
Award Amount: For the 2025 SRU Annual Meeting, each recipient received $2,000 to assist with travel, lodging, and registration expenses. Depending on the number of applicants and available funding, this amount may be increased or decreased in future years.
Geographic Scope: Preference given to applicants from a range of institutions and geographic regions to promote equitable access; international physicians from low resource settings may be considered at discretion of Executive Board.

Distribution: Checks will be distributed at the SRU Annual Meeting.
Notification: Recipients will be notified in advance of the meeting.
Attendance: Attendance at the SRU Annual Meeting is required.
