Reinberger Foundation: Education Grants

The Reinberger Foundation offers education grants to support underserved individuals in Northeast and Central Ohio. Priority is given to organizations with recent funding history. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) non-profits serving low-income populations, including schools, adult education, and workforce development programs. The foundation focuses on Cuyahoga and Franklin Counties, with specific considerations for grant requests. Organizations should discuss their proposals with the foundation before submitting applications.

NOTE: We are currently giving priority to organizations we have supported in the past 5 years. If you have not secured funding from The Reinberger Foundation recently, we would like a conversation with you prior to your LOI application. Please call The Foundation office to discuss the request before applying.

Eligibility

We support Northeast and Central Ohio non-profit, 501 (c)(3), organizations.Organizations must have a current 501 (c)(3) ruling from the IRS. In special circumstances, a religious organization or public entity may qualify.Organizations must provide service within Ohio. For the balance of 2024 we will not be reviewing requests for the Akron area. We will be considering support to organizations focused on service to Cuyahoga Country.
