Regional Educational Seminar - Seed Money Program
Overview: Once a year per Region, $500.00 SEED money is made available as support for an educational event. This program encourages regional education initiatives hosted by ASSA member clubs.

Eligible Presenters/Hosts: Single or multiple ASSA member clubs; events may be presented in conjunction with Specialties

How to Apply
Application Process
1. Submission Timeline: Regional Directors must present a written request no later than 60 days prior to the event date. Requests submitted after this date will not be eligible.
2. Required Materials:
- Budget of the planned event
- Description of seminar content
- Outline of seminar content
- Name(s) of presenter(s)
- Anticipated attendance
- Expected income
3. Submission Process:
- Regional Director forwards written request to the Education Chairman
4. Review & Approval:
- Educational Grants Chairman responds as soon as possible when approval is granted
- ASSA Treasurer forwards funds immediately upon approval
5. Post-Event Reporting:
- Regional Director provides written event summary to Education Grants Chairman no later than 30 days after event completion
- Report must include:
- Financial accounting
- Concerns on program acceptability and value
- Report will be presented to the Board at its next meeting
6. Additional Support:
- AKC will assist by sending mailing labels for judges within a specified area at no charge
