Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:
• Graduate from high school in the application year (2026 cohort closed)
• Be accepted into an accredited two-year college, four-year college, or accredited trade school
• Have enrollment beginning in summer or fall semester of the same year as graduation
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5
• Note: Unlike the Bill T. Hicks Scholarship, Y-12 Credit Union membership is NOT required for this program

• Extracurricular and community activities and involvement
• Content and creativity of video essay
