David Raft Fellowship

Overview: Fellowship recognizing exceptional PCC students and supporting their continued education in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

Status: Active (2025-2026 fellow appointed)

Geographic Scope: North Carolina and South Carolina

Focus Areas: Support for advanced psychoanalytic education and training

Eligibility:

Matriculated students in psychoanalytic training programs at PCC

Demonstrated commitment to psychoanalytic education and practice

Active involvement in PCC community

Clinical excellence and intellectual engagement

2025-2026 Raft Fellow:

Maggie Powell, MS, CRC, LCMHC (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in private practice in Cary NC, works psychodynamically with adults and older adolescents, specializes in treatment-resistant depression, experience with mood disorders, personality disorders, complex trauma, anxiety, psychosis, developmental disorders, matriculated student in psychoanalytic psychotherapy track since 2023)
