Proyecto Ayuda Scholarship Fund Grant

The Proyecto Ayuda Scholarship Fund, managed by the San Antonio Area Foundation, offers financial assistance to full-time high school seniors from specific districts. Eligible students must come from Spanish-speaking households and be first-generation college students. The scholarship supports various areas of study for up to three years, assisting a total of 20 students annually. It aims to improve educational opportunities and empower the next generation within the community.

Since 1964, the Area Foundation has distributed millions in grants and scholarships to educate youth, preserve the environment, protect animals, fund research and provide services that enhance the quality of life for people living in and around San Antonio.

Renewal Term: No, but a student may apply to receive this scholarship up to a total of 3 years or until they receive their undergraduate degree, whichever is first.

Eligibility

Who Can Apply:Current High School Senior furthering their education
Application Criteria:Graduating high school senior from the following districts: Eagle Pass ISD, Edgewood ISD, Harlandale ISD, Northside ISD, San Antonio ISD, Somerset ISD, South San ISD, or Southwest ISD.
Demonstrate financial need
Plan to attend any accredited two- or four-year college or university
May be a returning scholarship recipient (active college student status)
