Overview:
Presented annually to recognize a NACE member county project or program manager working below the county engineer or agency head management level for outstanding service and meritorious achievement in managing a construction project or pavement, safety, operations, bridge, or other program.

    Eligibility

  • Must be a NACE member
  • County project or program manager working below the county engineer or agency head level
  • Could include supervisors, foremen, or engineers who manage programs
  • Each state may submit one or more nominations
  • Nominations submitted by State organization President to Awards Committee Chair, or by NACE voting member within the state if no state organization exists

    Project/Program Requirements

  • For Projects: Must be completed by end of year for which award is submitted (2025 projects for 2025 awards)
  • For Programs: Must be implemented and substantially underway by end of year for which award is submitted

    Award Presentation

  • Winners announced at the 2026 Annual Conference in Arlington, Texas (April 11-14, 2026)
  • All nominees encouraged to attend

Required Application Materials

Applicants should provide discussion and information on:

1. Project or Program Details
- Discussion of the actual project or program, including the involvement of the project/program manager
- Significance and importance of the project or program to the community

2. Performance Metrics
- Nominee's performance to complete the project or program on time and within budget
- Whether project was completed on schedule and within cost parameters

3. Innovation and Communication
- Discussion of any innovative methods used to keep the public informed of the progress of the project or program

4. Additional Information
- Additional information beyond the above may be submitted for consideration
