Professional Training & Development Scholarships

Overview: TreePennsylvania's Board of Directors has designated a scholarship fund to provide access to practitioners, interested individuals, educators, and others to attend in- or out-of-state workshops, conferences or classes that will expand knowledge about urban and community forestry or tree-related issues in the urban environment.

Eligibility

• Applicants: Practitioners, interested individuals, educators, and others
• Residency: Must be full-time Pennsylvania residents

Funding Coverage

Covered expenses:
• Conference/workshop registration only

Not covered:

Travel (lodging, fuel, etc.)

Meal expenses

Preferences

• Preference given to events occurring within Pennsylvania
• Out-of-state events considered dependent on available funding
• Only costs ineligible for reimbursement through other means (employer coverage, etc.) may be reimbursed

Award Timing

Scholarships awarded on a rolling basis throughout calendar year until allocated funds are expended
