NOTEL Applications are reviewed on a monthly basis. Those submitted by the final day of the month will receive a decision within four weeks (for example, applications received by 31 January will be reviewed, with outcomes available from 28 February).What We Do We fundamentally believe that global challenges need to be solved by global, interdisciplinary experts who apply their diverse experience and unique voices to achieve a common goal. We provide funding to encourage research and broad participation at our events and to ensure diverse voices are around the table working together to solve the sustainability development goals we’ve chosen to support. Professional Development Support Grant For members participating in key developmental activities, such as workshops, training courses and mastering laboratory skills and techniques. The Professional Development Support Grant aims to enhance the professional growth and skills of applied microbiologists. It supports scientists in acquiring new knowledge, learning innovative techniques. The focus is on empowering microbiologists to stay updated with current research trends, and apply new learnings in their respective areas of work. Grant Details and Financial Support: Maximum award: Up to £2,000 per applicant, intended to cover reasonable travel, accommodation, and registration/course fees. For training and development only.

Eligibility

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. Open to current AMI Full or Associate members with a minimum of 13 months continuous active membership. Members whose applications have been previously successful are eligible to reapply once every three years. Unsuccessful applicants are welcome to reapply in subsequent application periods. This grant is highly competitive, with limited availability. You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member.
