Overview: Funding to help offset the cost of adding E15 to your fuel lineup at retail fuel sites.

    Eligibility

  • Retail fuel retailers or retail fuel groups
  • Must operate retail fuel sites with at least one dispenser being converted to E15

  • Applicants must commit to offering E15 as a primary gasoline grade for 1-5 years following conversion
  • Minimum requirement: Regular E15 (88) must be offered post-conversion

How to Apply

Application Process

#### Pre-Application Preparation
Review the applicant pre-application checklist and gather the following information:

Basic Information:
1. Business name and primary contact information (name, email, phone)
2. States and regions where your sites operate
3. Number of retail fuel sites included in this application
4. Current fuel products offered at your sites (before conversion)
5. Fuel products you plan to offer after conversion (including E15)
6. Estimated project completion timeline
7. Authorization for press release participation

Business Records/Estimates (gather in advance):
1. Total annual gasoline gallons — your sites' combined annual gasoline sales volume
2. Projected annual E15 gallons (Year 1) — estimated E15 sales volume in the first year after conversion
3. Total project cost — cost estimate or quote for the conversion work
4. Grant funding amount requested — the dollar amount you are applying for
5. Site list — a list of all sites included in this application (template available on the form)

#### Application Steps

Step 1: Applicant Information (25% complete)
1. Enter legal business name
2. Enter primary contact information (name, email, phone)
3. Enter secondary contact information (optional)
4. Select application date
5. Select all states/regions where your included sites are located
6. Click "Next" or "Save & Continue Later"

Step 2: Operational Profile
1. Enter total number of retail fuel sites included (each site must have at least one dispenser being converted to E15)
2. Enter total annual gasoline gallons (use most recent 12-month period; estimates acceptable)
3. Enter projected annual E15 gallons (Year 1) across all included sites
4. Enter projected annual E85 gallons (Year 1) if applicable (leave blank if not applicable)
5. Select time commitment length: 1 Year, 2 Years, 3 Years, 4 Years, or 5 Years
6. Click "Next" or "Save & Continue Later"

Step 3: Fuel Offering Transition
1. Select all fuel products currently available at your included sites prior to conversion (options include: Regular E10 (87), Midgrade E10 (89), Premium E10 (91), Diesel, E85, Other)
2. Specify any "Other" products before conversion
3. Select all fuel products that will be available following the E15 conversion (minimum requirement: Regular E15 (88) must be selected; options include: Regular E10 (87), Regular E15 (88), Midgrade E10 (89), Premium E10 (91), Diesel, E85, Other)
4. Specify any "Other" products after conversion
5. Click "Next" or "Save & Continue Later"

Step 4: Project Details
1. Provide project description: Describe the scope of work to be completed, including types of equipment being retrofitted or replaced and any associated system upgrades
2. Provide reason for conversion: Briefly explain why your business is pursuing this conversion and how it aligns with your operational or market goals
3. Enter estimated total project cost (including equipment, labor, and installation across all included sites)
4. Enter amount of grant funding requested
5. Review calculated retailer financial contribution (total project cost minus grant amount requested)
6. Enter projected completion timeline
7. Indicate whether Growth Energy is authorized to reference your business in a press release or public announcement (Yes, Maybe with certain conditions, or No)
8. (Optional) Provide information about additional sites, expansion plans, or other opportunities
9. (Optional) Upload supporting documentation (max file size: 50 MB) such as site photos, contractor estimates, etc.
10. Click "Submit"
