Who We Are

We’re a private family foundation, founded by retail entrepreneur and philanthropist Sol Price. We believe in a just and fair society, and that those who are fortunate to accumulate wealth must give back.

Grants

We make grants primarily to San Diego non-profits, with a special focus on organizations and programs that serve the community of City Heights.

Our grantmaking supports strategic initiatives, programs and organizations that improve life opportunities for underserved youth and families, and their communities. We provide general operating, program and capital grants.

* Applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits.
* We make grants to non-profits in San Diego County, primarily those serving residents in City Heights, with the intention of improving the lives and opportunities of young people and their families.

Ineligibility

* We rarely fund outside of San Diego County and PriceSmart communities.
