Exclusive live pitch event where independent creators pitch unproduced projects to top television, new media, and digital executives.

Program Details:

• Format: Live pitch competition at SeriesFest festival
• Pitch Duration: 5 minutes per project
• Number of Competitors: Approximately 6 series pitch live
• Audience: Panel of top industry executives from television, new media, and digital platforms
• Goal: Help move unproduced projects forward

Support Provided:

• Free pitch coaching from industry professionals
• Weeks of preparation and coaching prior to event
• Direct access to executives and producers

Past Winners:

• Season 10: The Haunting of Trisha Lozada
• Season 9: The Death Doula by Brittany Ballard (supported by Royal Bank of Canada, Dilettante Productions, and Working Artists Group)

Geographic Scope: Global (open to creators worldwide)

Application Process

1. Submit project for Pitch-A-Thon competition through SeriesFest
2. Selected pitchers receive professional pitch coaching
3. Work with pitch coach (e.g., Krista Gano of Working Artists Group) over several weeks
4. Prepare 5-minute pitch presentation
5. Pitch live to panel of industry executives during festival
6. Audience votes on winner

• Unproduced project/series
• 5-minute pitch format
• Original concept
• Willingness to pitch live at festival event
