Scholarships The Perry’s Foundation will offer scholarships to eligible students located in Olney, TX who meet the requirements. Scholarship awards are based on the availability of funds and the number of scholarship applications received. Age Requirement: Applicants must be 17-19 years old and classified as graduating seniors.Geographic Requirement: Open to students residing in Olney, TX and areas within a 50-mile radius with first preference to students in Olney, TX.Academic Requirement: A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale is required.Eligible Institutions: Applicants must intend to enroll in an accredited four-year college or university or a trade school.Preferred Majors: First preference is given to students majoring in Journalism or Mass Communication.
